About the Programme
Foodwise for Life is a free and practical course that helps you build sustainable, healthy habits around food and movement. It’s ideal for anyone in Rhondda Cynon Taff who wants to feel better, learn how to manage their weight healthily, and improve their relationship with food.
Delivered by trained Dietetic Assistant Practitioners, the sessions are informal, supportive, and designed to fit around real life. It’s not just about weight loss – it’s about feeling better overall and making positive choices that last.

Moving more – Discover enjoyable ways to bring more movement into your daily routine.
Understanding food labels – Get confident with food packaging and make informed choices in the supermarket.
Overcoming obstacles – Tackle common challenges like low motivation or lack of knowledge.
Swapping, not cutting out – Make realistic changes by switching to healthier options rather than cutting out your favourites entirely.
