GP - Out of Hours

The Urgent Out of Hours (OOH) Service covers the whole of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr areas, operating two Primary Care Centres based at Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Glamorgan, with a call centre in Ty Elai contact centre in Williamstown.

The OOH service provides urgent care to over 300,000 patients and operates during the following hours:

18.30pm – 08.00am weekdays
18.30pm Friday – 08.00am Monday
24 hour cover on bank holidays

We offer flexible, adhoc and regular GP sessions across the two centres.

We also offer a fully equipped triage suite at Ty Elai contact centre. We also have fully equipped vehicles with drivers for home visiting.
